If you’ve already completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies you can top up your qualification to a full BSc honours degree with our online nursing course. This course has been accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Centre for Professional Education until 31st August 2019 and recognised by the Dementia Action Alliance (DAA).
Who is the Nursing Studies course suitable for?
This Level 6 online course is ideally suitable for professionals working in the nursing arena who are looking to top up their current qualification to degree level, whilst also maintaining a career and personal life.
The course is also suitable for those that are preparing for Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Revalidation as our online course counts as participatory learning, of which you need to complete 20 hours as part of your re-registration.

If you do not already hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma, you may be eligible to complete our Certificate of Credit in Health and Social Care studies to gain 20 credits to achieve a Level 5 qualification that will allow entry to the online BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies Top-Up.
What will I learn from the Nursing Studies course?
The course allows you to develop transferable skills that can be applied directly within your care setting. Over the course you will develop skills in demonstrating critical, evidence based approaches to your practice, continuous and progressive learning, evaluate the teaching and support of colleagues in clinical practice, care and programme management, clinical practice development.
